X-Haul Business Unit is providing Microwave transport solution within Nokia, reference product is Wavence.

What you will learn and contribute to
As a SOC/FPGA engineer in X-Haul you will contribute to both feature evolution of product and development of new HW items to renew product HW platform.
Within one project you will contribute to study and architecture definition and will be responsible of design, coding, simulation, validation, unit and system tests, following the complete end to end project flow from requirement and feasibility analysis to maintenance.
- FPGA/ASIC/SoC RTL design, synthesis, P&R, validation, integration and verification
- System test organization and reporting, in cooperation with HW Digital, SW and Integration teams
- Configuration management and versioning of designs and related items
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Consolidated experience in FPGA/ASIC/SoC development and verification & good knowledge of FPGA/ASIC/SoC design and verification tools
- Proficiency in VHDL (preferred) and/or Verilog
- Competence in:
- clock management,
- timing constraining and verification,
- resource usage analysis and saving
- Basic lab hands on experience
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of microwave point-to-point communication application
- Knowledge of Ethernet standard and implementation experience
- Knowledge of SDH and PDH standards
- Basic knowledge of PLL theory and synchronization concepts
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
- Knowledge of Mentor Graphics suite for FPGA (HDL Designer, ModelSim, QuestaSim, Precision) with past working experience
- Experience in managing FPGA development within versioning tool (GIT or equivalent)
- Troubleshooting capabilities on complex systems
