We are looking for an experienced Psychologist who wants to grow their clinical skills in rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in patient care and well-being whilst being provided with the resources to succeed. Any level of experience considered. Flexibility with either full or part-time hours and location: East Tamaki or Albany, Auckland - the choice is yours! For the right candidate we also have a $2k sign-on bonus (pro-rated for part-time hours) waiting for your first pay.
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning
- Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments
- Be part of the development of training and resources for services delivered
- Collaborate and learn grow with a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- An exciting opportunity to increase your knowledge in physical rehabilitation and work with clients with a range of physical injuries.
- Well suited to a Clinical Psychologist with several years of experience in the DHB setting, looking to extend knowledge in rehabilitation and trauma.

The ideal candidate
- Your strong work ethic, teamwork and passion are instrumental to your success in this role.
- MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification
- Registration as a Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board and have a current APC.
- Membership of Professional Body (New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or New Zealand Psychological Society).
- Experience working with clients who have sustained physical injuries or trauma will be an advantage.
