We are looking to hire experienced Sewer and Water Labourers to work in the Cornwall area.

Job Duties:

Complete checks on grade and alignment.
- Dig trenches in preparation for pipelayers.
- Setting up trench shoring
- Signal and direct equipment operators
- Install and repair a variety of water and sewer lines.
- Perform manual and labour-intensive tasks as assigned.
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Level top surface according to grade and depth specification.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Digging, spreading and levelling dirt and gravel May tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
- Performing rough framing, finishing freshly poured concrete; erecting scaffolding, shoring, and braces; waterproofing surfaces; applying caulking compounds to seal crevices; grinding, sanding, or polishing surfaces such as concrete, wood and steel; demolishing buildings, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, cutting and attaching insulating material.
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to successfully complete safety training as required on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Ability to do physical labour and lift up to 23kg ( 50lbs)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Sewer and water experience is required.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Available to work Monday to Friday from 7 am - 5 pm. ( evenings and weekends may be needed)
