About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our brand new Deborah Cheetham Retirement Village in Ocean Grove as a Personal Care Worker - night shifts. Be part of the village from the very beginning as we welcome new residents!

We have a variety of part time roles working across Serviced Apartments and Aged Care (Low Care, High Care and Special Care). Shifts to commence at 2200 - 0700, working 3 or 4 nights per week. Medication competency is highly advantageous.

We are also seeking somebody to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday 0000 - 0900 as a Porter (responding to overnight call bells when required) from June 1st. Please indicate in your application whether you're open to commencing work sooner.

Interviews for these positions will be held in-person on Tuesday 22nd or Wednesday 23rd May 2023.

In this role you will:

  • Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
  • Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for your own mum, dad, nana or poppa
  • Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
  • Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • Certificate III/ IV in Ageing Support. We also welcome candidates who have studied individual and disability support
